Ximena Sanchez-Samper, MD is a Board- Certified Addiction Psychiatrist who obtained her degree as a psychiatrist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and completed her Addictions Fellowship through the combined Massachusetts General Hospital, McLean Hospital / Brigham and Women’s Hospital Addictions Fellowship program in 2004.

We understand that the ideal time to seek treatment may not adhere to a 9 to 5 schedule, which is why we prioritize accessibility and convenience. Transportation arrangements can also be provided to ensure a seamless arrival.

What to Bring: Essential Items for Your Treatment Journey

To ensure you are prepared for your stay at Charles River Recovery, we have compiled a list of essential items to bring with you. These items will help make your experience comfortable and conducive to your recovery journey.

  • Current Prescriptions: Bring any current prescriptions in their original containers to ensure continuity of medication.
  • Health Insurance and ID Card: Please bring your health insurance card and a valid identification card for the admissions process.
  • Clothing: Pack comfortable and casual clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities. We recommend bringing at least five outfits to cover your stay.
  • Gym Attire: Include gym clothes and gym shoes for physical exercise activities.
  • Sleepwear and Bathing Essentials: Bring pajamas, a bathrobe, slippers, and shower shoes for your comfort and personal hygiene.
  • Personal Items: You may bring personal photos, an MP3 player, iPod, or Kindle/Electronic Reader (without internet capabilities or a camera). Please note that pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals are not permitted.
  • Hygiene Products: Bring alcohol-free hygiene products in their original containers for your daily self-care routine.
